Today I am going to give you a little tour of my Okc home, then later this week I will dive into each room and share where I got the some of my new pieces! And my sun room patio furniture will arrive this week so stay tuned!
When you walk into my home you enter into my home office that leads into my dining room! The colors, the style and overall feel is very different than my home in Colorado. I wanted this to all be a fresh start a new beginning! *** Stay tuned this week because a TON of my stuff is available online now, I will link everything later this week**
I wanted the dining room to be modern and just by switching out the light fixture it turned into the focal point of the home which I love! The marble table was a present to myself, I love the oval shape!
When you walk into my front door I do have a little entryway hall tree plus a little sitting area. The school desk from my sitting area Matt’s mother gave me and it is from the old school house in Georgetown, Colorado. I love that I can have a piece with me to remind me of a place I love.
My master is full of light and has such a good feel to it! I love the bedding I picked from Pottery Barn and the picture over my bed is something I have had since my VERY first single apartment 18 years ago. I love how it has stood the test of time and moved with me to all my homes and here it is full circle…. from my first single apartment to my later in life unexpected single home.
Here is my living room that overlooks my sun room! Man, I MISS my awesome lay-z-boy couch from our Colorado home but there was no way that would fit into this home! So I wanted something fun, hence my pink velvet couch!
My guest room is the former garage that was turned into a second master of sorts since it has a full attached bath (which is the smallest bath ever) I would say this room is still a work in progress, I wanted this place to be welcoming and I think it conveys that well!
Here is my show room (HA) I turned my 3rd bedroom into a walk in wardrobe. I will be doing an entire post dedicated to this room because a ton of love, sweat, blood and days went into the build out of this room!
Now I realized I forgot to take pictures of my kitchen so stay tuned for that! I have also painted my front door pink which is so fun and even better because I did it myself. I will take a picture of that as well today! But there you go, this is my new home and so far it feels like a pretty great place to be. My parents love my new home which makes me happy and the dogs seem to be settling in nicely! Happy Monday friends!
