#babyblues

A lot of you have been asking be for an update on our #babymakingdays and there isn’t a lot to report.  We have been trying to conceive since last October and I have seen a lot of negative pregnancy tests since then and not much else! ha!
I will say that this past March we took a month off, my Granddad passed away whom I was really close with and it took me awhile to get my head right again. Then April was also hard for us because I had my worst migraine month in a long time. So we have been dealt some blows but since then we are back on track.
What is next? In the next 2 weeks I will know how this month went and if it doesn’t go well then I will make my appointment with my Gyno to discuss our next options. I am sure that will include some sort of fertility drug and we will then go from there! So my update isn’t very complex…. ya know it is what it is. And thus far I have been very positive and I am still positive but I am just ready to move on… ya know?
Plus my little sister is getting married next June so if it doesn’t happen in the next two months we will have to stop trying for a couple of months because I can’t have my due date be May or June…. I want my family to be here with me and I want to be there for her so … Matt said that is stupid we can’t plan a baby around my sister getting married but trust me… we have to. So we will see, Fingers crossed for this month I guess.
Wish me luck.

Do you have a fertility monitor? It's best to track fertility either naturally or with a monitor, so that you can find your "window" of peak fertility (day of ovulation plus 5 days before). You might also read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler (she also has a website by the same name). It really helped me understand my body much better.

I know you will get bombarded with advice probably. I just have to testify on fertility drugs. My niece that graduated the other night, was so emotional for us all, she was the little miracle baby. After two miscarriages, my sister worked closely with her gynecologist and got on fertility medications. She then got pregnant with Brooke, after 13 years of marriage. I was by her side through almost 24 hours in labor and was the second one to see her, as she had a c-section (and I obviously wasn't in the operating room). She went on to have my other niece almost 2 years later. I totally understand wanting to plan around the wedding. I am sure you don't want to be far along, and in the Oklahoma heat and tired, or having a newborn. Will continue to keep praying. Thanks for the update. – Janet
