Addison is TOO adorable. You always get me with these charity things you post. There are so many worthy causes out there though that you make people aware of. You may not be pounding pavement but, you are making people aware of things out in the world through your blog. You are getting at least one person to help with each blog post me)and I am sure many more!

I’m not sure if my first comment went through…so I’ll do it again. Sookie is favorite…she is not nice and not the kind of cat I wanted, but I still love her. She came into my life at such a hard time, that I owe some of my healing to her.
You passion for animals is one of the many reasons I love you.

I would love to read this book! I just added it to my wish list on Amazon! My puppy Tasha is a rescue and she always makes me smile after a rough day on the job (I’m a child welfare social worker). I love the idea of combining kids and animals to benefit therapeutically from working together…my dream is to someday have an office therapy dog!! Thanks for sharing this!

My last husband owned 4 cats when we got married (Thor, Loki, Ghost, Tweedle) and (Furrball) that stopped by to eat. I was initially overwhelmed. But, how came to love them dearly. They were on the couch or at our feet when watching tv and slept with us at night. (My cat Buster growing up did his thing and could care less about where we were). They were entertaining and humorous at times. (We had to put Ghost to sleep for old age and then Furrball for Cancer They were so hard to leave behind after so many years in the divorce. I left a piece of my heart there. Pets make life so much better. I wish we could have a pet but, Mom is too old and I am gone from the house like 12 hours a day, plus sleep time. I can love my grand fur-babies from a far instead.
