#moorestrong

1 year ago today Oklahoma was forever changed…..again. 1 year ago today Moore faced devastation that we hoped would never happen again. 1 year ago today my heart broke. 1 year ago today was my first day of work at my new job in Ohio and I faced with the devastating news of my home town being hit with a tornado. So many of my friends lost everything and everyone is still healing today…..after being in the school during the May 3, 1999 tornado I know first hand how this will stay with you forever.  Moore is strong, Moore is rebuilding and Moore is healing. My prayers are still with everyone back home. #moorestrong

I still can't watch the footage from that day. It feels like yesterday and is just so raw. My prayers are with all of the teachers in our schools who are working to bring peace to the lives our kiddos as the memories flood back in for them.

Driving into OKC from Dallas last summer was an awful experience. Seeing all of the wreckage that hadn't been there just WEEKS before.

Saying prayers for those that continue on the road to healing. I know it will not be easy. Sending hugs your way Becky.

I just watched the video and oh my gosh…I am just fighting the tears. If I was home I would probably be sobbing. I see first hand why they say #moorestrong and I love how when the teacher said "hero" and they immediately thought Kevin Durant. That is awesome! I am a proud Texan, but Oklahoman's have huge hearts and are so close. With the tragedies that y'all have faced over the years and everyone comes together.
