The Ark

Something I may not have told you all before is that I always wanted to be an Archeologist growing up. I have always had a unique fascination with History, ancient Egypt and unearthing the past. Finding something hidden and then putting the puzzle together to figure out it’s past is well…..amazing. Fast forward to today and clearly I am nothing close to a Archeologist but that doesn’t mean my fascination has dimmed any.
I have watched documentary after documentary on the History channel about Finding Noah’s Ark….I mean I can’t even describe how excited I get about this. Finding fact and evidence to back up something people believe in ….is a dream to me! A few weeks ago someone posted a story in Facebook about the Ark and when I read it I was floored!!! It is from a site that is new to be called Sunny Skyz and this article is amazing! This article includes facts, evidence and pictures…..the case to me is completely clear as to what they have found in Turkey…. is in fact Noah’s Ark.
Here are just 2 highlights from this article…….

How It Was Discovered

In 1959, Turkish army captain Llhan Durupinar discovered an unusual shape while examining aerial photographs of his country. The smooth shape, larger than a football field, stood out from the rough and rocky terrain at an altitude of 6,300 feet near the Turkish border with Iran.

Artifacts Retrieved From The Ark

Using the GPR, Ron Wyatt discovered an open cavity on the starboard side. He used an improvised drill to make core sample inside this cavity and retrieved several very interesting objects. Below you can see the artifacts which were sent for laboratory analysis. On the left is the bore hole [see above], followed by what turned out to be petrified animal dung, then a petrified antler and lastly a piece of cat hair.

Noahs Ark Has Been Found. Why Are They Keeping Us In The Dark?

Now switching gears a little bit and I realize this movie version has “added” to the story of Noah but have you seen the trailer for Noah? When I saw this for the first time it actually made me emotional, it was like Russell Crowe was made to play Noah. Seeing one of the greatest stories in the Bible come to life is powerful and I can not wait to see this…………

Friends, I hope I shared with you something today that excites you as it has with me!

I'm right there with you, sister! I always said the same thing! It seemed like the coolest job ever. I've always been obsessed with the treasure hunt kind of movies like National treasure and the Da Vinci Code. I can't wait to see Noah!
