Hi Friends, sorry I have been MIA……not only am I on my third day with WW but I have had a migraine everyday this week. It completely blows, I would do ANYTHING to never get a migraine ever again. Literally.
So far this week I am hungry, hoping that my stomach will get with the program this week and shrink already! HAHA! This week my recipes have been different because Matt is out of town, so they are mostly vegetarian and mostly just veggies. When Matt is home I will be making more recipe-type meals.
For lunch I am starting with the Smart Ones frozen meals to ease into the change, I dislike all frozen meals so I am hoping I can learn to like them. Here are a few things I have/will eat this week……

* Quinoa stuffed acorn squash from Martha Stewart and green beans. HERE

* Barefoot Contessa roasted winter veggies (last night) and the left overs will become her winter soup tonight made with no cream…….. HERE

* Baked chicken breast with steamed asparagus toped with a poached egg. HERE

* Portobella burger with whole wheat bun. Here and I a going to make baked Kale chips with this.

So there are some ideas if you want to check them out!! I have unsweet tea which is 0 points, coffee with 1 tsp of both cream and sugar is barely 1 point which is nice. So I think I am starting out ok, if I could just get rid of my migraines!

    Sorry to hear that you are having migraines all week. Your recipes sound delicious. I think the first week is the hardest. For me it always is. There is such a drop in food consumption that your body is like "What is going on?". Keep up the good work! – Janet

    Looks like you're starting off on the right foot. These recipes look delish! I'll have to try some of them in my kitchen. You're going to do GREAT!!!

    I hate the frozen dinners too…they are just so yuk but they do help in a pinch.
