Ok, so I can’t be the only person who has watched Gossip Girl for the last 6 years? I finally watched the end of an era today and it kinda made me sad. (yes, I just admitted that) This show for 6 years has given me fashion to lust after, Blake Lively and her glorious locks to admire and bratty upper east “siders” to snarl at…..and it is all over! I have had a love/ hate relationship with this show that is for sure, I will never understand how 15 year olds drink and go clubbing without their parents finding out but then again I guess that is all part of the fantasy huh?

So many shows end and they don’t live up to our dreams (Sopranos I am talking to you) but this show finale was perfect! If you haven’t watched it yet turn away! Yes, Blair and Chuck got hitched (after they watched his Dad die but whatever)! And Blair will always be a princess in my eyes and I loved her blue wedding gown! And yup they gave us what we all wanted…..a flash forward! And in that flash forward we see that Serena and Dan get hitched too! Amazing!

This is Chuck and Blairs upper east side prodigy and I completely buy into the fact that they all live happily ever after…………

And they finally told us who Gossip Girl is……..Lonely Boy AKA Dan Humphrey! Perfection! I just loved saying goodbye to the characters and I love that they left us (well them) all in such a happy place.

So silly of me huh??? Did you watch this? Are you going to watch The Carrie Diaries now that GG is over???

I don't watch GG, but I felt this way at the end of my GG (Gilmore Girls) show. It was 7 years of my life.I am actually pretty excited about The Carrie Diaries.
