Movie Monday

Hi Friends….Monday again (sigh). I haven’t done a movie review in awhile and we all know how much I love movies so this is kinda shocking, I know!!!! But I have 2 for you on this Movie Monday Morning and they couldn’t be more different!!!!

This movie Bachelorette is weird as in….it was at the theaters and available On Demand at the same time but that was good news for us couch potatoes! I heard a lot of buzz on this movie and was excited to see this self proclaimed “Girl version of the Hangover”!!!! How did it stack up?????? Well, this movie was silly, raunchy, mean and full of drugs, sex and bridal shenanigans! HAHAHA! I am serious but it was all in good fun. It wasn’t the funniest thing I have seen but this was a great On Demand movie. All the stars are cast perfect and I really enjoyed this movie…it was a great time!

I think you should check it out!!!

Here is the preview for Bachelorette:

Now lets talk about this movie Trouble with the Curve….this movie has all the bones….Amy Adams, JT, Clint Eastwood and baseball. But that is all it has. I am SUPER easy to please but this movie just bored me and frankly annoyed me. Clint Eastwood is an aging baseball scout who over-does-it as the “grumpy, need no help aging guy”.  Frankly it got on my nerves, I was like “I get it…..Your tough, you have a rough voice” enough!! And Justin Timberlake, his whole character was pointless.? But there is 1 scene where he “clogs” yup, as in the dance. I don’t know I love baseball movies, I love sports but this is trying to hard to make us root for Amy Adams as she “gets thru to her tough Dad”! This is 100% a renter, nothing more. Here is the trailer……

I loved Trouble with the Curve, I think because JT was in it! It was a feel good movie and I love when movies are predictable!

I wanna both of those…but I will probably have to wait on DVD for both of them. There is no time for a real movie theatre night now-a-days.
