Hi Friends!!!!! Sorry I was gone for a few days but I feel like I have been here, there and not in front of my computer!!! Today it is raining in Columbus the perfect day to stay in and get things done. Also, I am waiting for the UPS man to deliver my last 2 tables (sofa and entry way) from Pottery Barn…..I wish he would come this morning can’t wait to fix em up! ha
I am loving some great things today so lets jump in……….
* My Babies
I am loving my animals and the wonderful pictures I have been able to capture of them lately. Sadly, none are of my beautiful cat Bella…she is like a mysterious creature that I am unable to capture on film! HA! I hope you enjoy these…………….
* Fun Nails!
So I have always done my own nails every week since like Jr. High but lately I am getting more and more into it as well as branching out!!! Here are 2 pictures of my latest color combos and if the “1 nail different” thing has passed I didn’t get the memo! HA
This is Essie Mojito Madness then my ring finger is a solid silver with a OPI silver glitter on top.
These are both by China Glaze..the grey is Recycle and the pink I forgot! ha! Next up I found a blog that said that the Bachelorette Emily wears Essie Fiji so I ordered it!!! Yippee. Also the top coat his called Northern Lights I got at Sally and it has flecks of shiny glitter…..love it!!
* St. Louis Cardinals
Last Saturday night Matt and I drove 2 hours to Cincinnati to watch the Reds play our Cardinals! We didn’t get the Memo that the game was pushed up 3 hours (how would we know?) so when we found out we ran around like crazy people and hit the road!
We were over an hour late and we actually spent more time in the car than at the game but it was fun regardless! Cincinnati seems cool and it was so weird to drive 2 hours and be in Cincinnati rather than Tulsa, Ok! The Cardinals lost the game by 1……next time!
So……I was SO excited to stumble upon this………this is a real working farm that happens to be 5 miles from my house AND they are open 6 days a week as a Farm Stand! I left with a ton of amazing produce for less than $12!!! They will be seeing a lot more of me for sure!
* Hobby Lobby
So…..everything you see here was in the clearance section of Hobby Lobby!!! I mean I was like a kid in the candy store grabbing everything I could! Somethings might have a small chip but who cares?!! Thanks to Hobby Lobby and Marshall’s I have been able to do So much with the new house! yay!
With the highs way up in the 90s last night was a Gazpacho kind of night! I swear anything over 80′ is not for me….it is like my kryptonite!!! I used Ina Garten’s recipe and taking a page from the Pioneer Woman I added a spoon of sour cream….yumm!!!! You can see the Barefoot Contessa’s recipe by clicking HERE!!
So friends……what are you loving today???????
