Hi Guys!! I am still in Oklahoma but I figured I would schedule a post while I was away and what a better way to go then with FOOD! Now that Matt and I are living under the same roof again and having dinner together (Praise God) I am getting back into my groove of cooking! I have made a few things lately but wanted to share a couple of them with you that you need to try NOW!
First up a Impossible Buttermilk cake, my Mom made this while I was living at home and it was the first thing I made for Matt when I got here!! This is BEYOND easy…it is made in a blender and it is delish! I changed it up but only a little…I added a dash of cinnamon! To make this……click HERE!
Next I made a delish Giada dinner and to start with was a Bibb lettuce, pear, gorgonzola and avocado salad! I know it sounds weird but it was insanely great! I added a drizzle of Balsamic reduction and I think it added a little something special! I loved this! HERE is the recipe! (PS…I also couldn’t find “pear juice” or whatever it calls for so I used Apple and it was just as great)
I then made this amazing filet (well Matt grilled) with Giada’s Poblano Tomato sauce! But I actually used roasted red peppers instead of Poblano’s and I loved it that way but I bet it is great either way! HERE is this recipe!
So….now I swear I am not talking about this because I sell it but because I flipping LOVE it! Holy cow even if no one but me buys this that is A-OK! It is SOOO easy……you buy the special warmer via Scentsy…..you heat up the Belgium chocolate for like 30 sections, squeeze into the warmer……heat then EAT! I mean who would of thought Fondue would be an easy, mess free option for a week night dessert?
Matt wanted to try the White Chocolate first and I thought it was amazing tasted just like the melting pot but a fraction of the price! And I know what everyone is getting for a gift this year!!!!!!!! To check out my site click HERE!
