Hi guys…..I have a fun and SUPER easy project for you (via Barefoot Contessa)…..
Garlic and Lemon Scented EVOO
All you need is……
1 Bottle of EVOO
1 Lemon
12 garlic heads

Peel the garlic but leave them whole (12) …………

Then pour all of the EVOO into a pot with the garlic cloves and simmer for 10 minutes. Do not boil on high you do not want the garlic to burn!

While it is simmering use a veggie peeler to peel your lemon. Then put the lemon peel into the bottle the EVOO came in. Or if you have another jar you want to use that is great, I just reused the bottle to save money!

Lastly put 1 teaspoon of kosher salt and a pinch of red pepper flakes into your oil and stir. Then using a funnel put everything back into the bottle….don’t forget to shove the garlic cloves back inside also! And there you have it specialty Olive Oil for a fraction of the store price!

I think this will be amazing in a salad or to cook fish with! Yumm!!!
