What would happen if you were visited by your younger self, and got a chance for a do-over?

Alice Love is twenty-nine years old, madly in love with her husband, and pregnant with their first child. So imagine her surprise when, after a fall, she comes to on the floor of a gym (a gym! she HATES the gym!) and discovers that she’s actually thirty-nine, has three children, and is in the midst of an acrimonious divorce.

A knock on the head has misplaced ten years of her life, and Alice isn’t sure she likes who she’s become. It turns out, though, that forgetting might be the most memorable thing that has ever happened to Alice.

I finished What Alice Forgot last friday and this book was a joy! A completely fun summer read that happens to be set in Australia! I recommend this book if you are on the hunt for your next great read!

I saw the Help on Friday night with my mother-in-law Micki and her friend Amber……this was the first movie in a long time to truly stick to the book. This was a perfect adaptation….this was laugh out loud funny but also VERY emotional. I actually don’t remember it being so emotional but I think it was seeing the characters come to life on screen. The actors are perfect, the setting was perfect……as you can see I loved it! I will say thought it was LONG! But definitely a movie you and your family should catch!
