The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Hi guys! I am alive….barely! I will try to catch everyone up on the past few days today!
The Good…….
Skipping a Beat by Sarah Pekkanen
The “jest” of this book is about a young and very rich couple who have been together since HS and lately they seem to live completely different/separate lives. One day her husband has a heart attack and is dead for 4 minutes when he wakes up he is not the person she came to know. He starts giving away everything they own and wants a better life….but is she willing to give up the life she became accustom to and her heated bathroom tiles? This book is light hearted but thought provoking at the same time! I read this in 3 days and enjoyed every minute of it! I think this would make an amazing movie! Looking for your next read? Here it is…………..

The Bad
Country Strong
SO let me tell you that this movie is NOTHING that it seems to be…I mean the acting is great and so is the music BUT there is NOT one uplifting moment in this entire movie. They don’t show any of this in previews but why would they want you to know that this is the most depressing movie EVER! I am just saying….this movie is not bad at all but when you are not expecting “this” you are shocked how this movie is beyond sad. Have you seen it? Thoughts?

The Ugly
SO………..from Sunday night at midnight to yesterday I spent my 24 hours looking at one of these……. apparently there is a stomach virus going around and I got it BAD! Today I feel better and I am going to try to play catch up but I am still weak! I hope you and your family don’t get this anytime soon!

How was your weekend? We spent ALL Sunday in the yard and I will do a post about that sometime today!

Okay, I really really liked Country Strong, maybe because it wasn't what I thought it was about. Maybe because life isn't always about roses and happy endings. I do agree, it can make a person depressed. I LOVED the soundtrack. Have you seen Tron yet, did you know he was the guy that played Beau?? I loved his voice!! Have a great day!
