So this past Sunday night I made a Rachael Ray meal that was too die for….even Matt raved about it and took the left overs to work on Monday! And the best part? It’s easy………….
Bloody Mary Steak Salad
What you need:
Romaine, endive, leafy greens (all or a few of your favorite sturdy greens)
Tomatoes, Celery (sliced)
The ingredients below for the vinaigrette…..
Bring your flank steak to room temperature and then use your grill pan to cook the steak. Season with S&P and a litle EVOO before throwing it on a Med-high grill pan…..I cooked it about 10 minutes on each side…you want it to be pink inside or it will be very tough
For your vinaigrette…..
2 tbl Tomato Paste
1 tbl horseradish
dash of Tabasco
S & P
juice of 1 lemon
1 tbl Worchestershire
** Mix all of these together and remember add more or less to please your taste!! This is SO good and it tastes just like a bloody mary an why yes I was tempted to drink this salad dressing! Yumm
When your steak is done make sure to let is rest for about 5-10minutes then slice against the grain! Matt is lending a helping hand!
Toss your greens with fresh parsley, celery and I added some tomatoes and croutons to ours! Then pour your dressing all over your salad and meat! I promise you will love this!
