{Feb 11} What I {LOVE} about my friends is…
Here is what I love about my closest friends…..we all understand that we are busy, we want to spend time with our families and with that being said we don’t have to talk everyday. I have close friends that I email with daily or ones that I talk to bi-weekly but what I love is that we all understand that no matter how frequent we talk our friendship is the same. I will say I have had some friends who don’t get this and if a few days go by without talking they get mad or if I choose to stay in over the weekend with Matt they get hurt feelings and I just can’t do that….it isn’t me. I don’t love talking on the phone and in the evenings when I am home I want to relax and unwind which does not include talking on the phone…..so that is what I love about my close friends, mutual understanding.
Amen about not talking on the phone. I am fine with it from time to time as it may be necessary, but I would rather relax in the evenings. That is my veg time.
I know what you mean about talking occasionally and it being okay and able to pick right up where you left off, not missing a beat. I think it comes down to maturity.and to answer your question from my blog, yes that was at SHBC. I grew up at that church and moved out west for college but my mom and stepdad still go there.
Thanks for stopping by my blog — really enjoy yours!
