Thankful Thursday

We made it to Thursday and it is hard to believe that tomorrow is already Friday! On this “Thankful Thursday” I am thankful for a few things….
1. Happy Veterans Day, I am especially thankful for my Granddad who served and my brother who is serving now in the Marines as an Officer! My whole family is even more thankful that is his Spring 2011 deployment has been pushed back to Fall 2011 and who knows what will happen in the next year. Here’s to hoping it gets pushed back even further! We found out that wonderful news a week or so ago. Currently my brother is at Camp Pendelton in San Diego but right now he is training at 29 Palms in the desert and it is so top secret the only thing we are allowed to know is he is there. Curtis I love and miss you….see you at Thanksgiving!

 2. Ok, this one is weird but I am thankful for my migraine pills. I know I know I am strange but with me having so many migraines recently if I did not have something that kinda helped I don’t know what I would do. I don’t think I would ever leave my bed and my quality of life would be bad. I hate that the pills are SO expensive and I am limited to a certain number each month but I am so thankful I have them to help me cope from day to day. SO Thank You modern medicine!

 3. Today I am thankful that THIS Saturday and Sunday is Matt’s BIG 30th Birthday trip to Denver! I mean when you have been planning something for MONTHS the fact that it is finally here is amazing~! BUT, look at the game day weather below…..36′ and snow! Wowzah! I got us both those one time use ponchos and I have a Broncos hoodie and a thick jacket! I just hope it is enough! Matt is even more stoked….he said this is the real experience snow and football! I am glad he sees it that way!

Lastly, can you all believe that Thanksgiving is right around the corner? I feel like I don’t know where time went and I am so behind on Christmas planning and shopping! After Matt’s Birthday I just may have to ask for cash for Christmas! 🙂
Have a super day friends!
