30th Birthday Weekend-Part 1

Hi Blogger Friends! I think I am going to chop Denver up to 3 posts today and this first one is going to be about our super hotel and sight seeing Saturday! We got up Saturday morning at 4am and when we landed in Denver it was 7:30 their time we did not stop that day until 11pm that night, YES! We were so tired! We got in and had a yummy brunch at a place called Snooze which we loved and after brunch we quickly worked it off by walking up and down the 16th street mall. What that is, is a super neat street lined with stores, diners and cute cobblestone streets. It was a beautiful day, a tad cold but so enjoyable!

I loved how quaint the streets were even though this is a huge city……….

Our hotel Teatro was amazing, it was located in the heart of the theatre district and that is also how it was decorated inside with historical framed Theatre art!

We got a corner suite and our bathroom was to die for…….rain shower? check! Flat Screen TV in bathroom? check! Jacuzzi tub? Check!

We had a small seating room and both of the hotel room walls are lined with windows which we loved!

The bed was so plush and we loved that we were able to move the flat screen TV!!! To check out Hotel Teatro click HERE!

Saturday night we had a late dinner at The Capital Grille that was amazingly good! But the funny thing is when we sat down to eat it was 9pm Oklahoma time and when we got our food the weight of the day hit us and I am sure we looked like two zombies trying to eat.

The Grille was only 2 blocks from our hotel so we braved the cold and walked which was actually an enjoyable brisk walk! Saturday was a great day and we crashed as soon as we got back to the room!

We also toured Coors Field where the Rockies play so that will be my next post! Stay tuned……..
