Cooking Class

Hi guys! Last night was the Mexican Made Easy cooking class I taught at The Bethel Foundation! There is the Good and the Bad! The Bad? well, things happen and only 1 mother showed up! The Good? Is that we had a wonderful time and made Sara feel comfortable, we were even able to help even more by sending a second tray of enchiladas home with her!
The Foundation’s kitchen is very small but we made it work…here I am teaching everyone how the chef’s chop a onion!

I had some wonderful fellow JH’ers to help out in the kitchen!! We made Avacado relish, chicken enchiladas and sopapillas!

The whole group with our single mother Sara! It was a pleasure to meet her and hopefully she will spread the word how much fun this was and next time have a we can have a bigger turn out!

Left overs we sent home with Sara for her and her kiddos! Yumm…..”Get in my belly”

We all had a wonderful time sitting around the table chatting, also in this picture is Lynda the founder and director of the foundation! She does wonderful things and she has a huge heart!

Over all I left feeling really great and thought….let’s do this again!

As long as one person's life is touched, I consider it a success.
