I LOVE BOOKS

So, I love love love books and we all know I love books that become movies and I am giddy like a school girl right now and I have to share the New Moon Trailer #3 with you all…….Yes, you can laugh but I know that all of you secretly are dying to see this also……… I CAN NOT WAIT!!

Ok, I finally finished Homer’s Odyssey by Gwen Cooper……
I have been in a bit of a slow reading rut, normally this book would of taken me all of 2-3 days but this time it took about 2 weeks. And I give this book 2 thumbs up… I found it by reading a review for this book in People magazine and this book spoke to me and touched my heart. Gwen is a girl after my own heart, she rescues cats and she loves them more than you can imagine. This is the story of Gwen and her three cats one of them whom is blind. She talks about her life, love and work and always relates things to Homer and his courage. This is not a sad Marley & Me like book so you know (sigh of relief) but I did cry in some places merely because I felt her love for her cats and I could relate. This is a book for animal lovers and people who have big hearts…. if only the world would have more Gwen Coopers!!! This book also made in some way realize even more how much I love my animals, you people laugh but they are my children and I love them as much as you all love your kids. And for the record I hate it when people say “wait until you have kids” what does that mean? When someone has a baby and tells of the love they have for their child people don’t say “wait until you have your second” as if you will love the first one less…….my point is if you have a kid and your animals fall to the way side or you “have to give them up” due to children then you didn’t truly love them in the first place. Harsh I know, forgive me but it is a HUGE peeve of mine and I am sure some of you disagree and “whatever” I say to you……….ok ok I am done……..read the book!!!
Tonight at Midnight the new Dan Brown will be delivered to my Kindle and I am so excited, my only worry is that I have been looking forward to this book for over 6months and I hope my expectations are not to high!!!!!!

A Twilight fan & an animal lover! Girl, you are right up my alley! 😉 You & your hubby are so cute. Me & my sister lived in Oklahoma when we were really little, then we moved to Kansas & then grew up in Arkansas. Now, me & my hubby live in Las Vegas, Nevada – WAY different than Arkansas! But, his family is here. I'm flying home in November to see New Moon with my sister, mom, Aunt & cousin. I can't wait! I need to find another book that is just as good as Twilight. I don't care, I like "tween" books. I've read all of the Shopaholic books & they are pretty good too. Well, keep in touch!<3 Bon
