I Loved, I lost, I made spaghetti

I finished this book just in time for our book club meeting on Saturday!! And I boasted about it quite well, so much so I already loaned it out! This book is a memoir about the love & cooking life of Giulia Melucci! Here is a great way to describe this book…..
1 Part Sex & The City
1 Part Rachel Ray
Throw in a dash of NYC
And follow by a pinch of Bridget Jones Diary
And what you will get is I Loved, I Lost, I made Spaghetti!
This book is so fun and it actually includes her recipes that she has made for the men in her life one of my favorites is “Morning after bread” or “Ethan’s mom is a Yankee pot roast”! But really this book is about a woman who wants to get married but is a magnet for guys who won’t commit! She is blessed with wonderful cooling skills and therefor tries to wooo her boyfriends with her meals! The saying goes the way to a man’s heart is thru his stomach! If you are in the mood for a clever and light hearted summer book than this is the book for you!!!

What’s next for me? I started The Kite Runner last night so stay tuned!

I think I'll have to pick up this book. Sounds really cute! I've read the Kite Runner. It is sooo good, but really disturbing in parts. It's really an amazing book though. -Lindsey Hennan
