Boob Tube Babble

So I came across something fun and new today on a blog I like to follow.....Neely from Dallas and she does Boob Tube Babble and if you know me then you know this is right up my alley!!!
So lets talk TV......
* The Dead Files
Ok on Friday there is a new show on the Travel Channel called The Dead Files which airs after Ghost Adventures. This show is about a Medium/Detective team investigating hauntings.... The detective goes thru history of the house, family and conducts interviews all while the medium goes thru the house gathering her side of things. The two never talk during the investigation and they then come together at the end to see if the mediums findings match the detectives. It is astonishing how they matched on episode 1 and this show is just so intriguing. You should check it out!
 * Parenthood
Who doesn't want to be a Braverman? I Do! I Do! I just love this family and this show is one of my favorites! I love the family dynamic and I love the marriage of Adam and Christina. If you are not watching this should.
 * Revenge
Ok, so this was one show that I had no interest in watching but last week I DVR'ed it anyways just to see......and I am so glad I did! This show that I didn't want to watch is now one of my favorite new shows! I just love it and since there have only been 2 episodes you still have time to watch them online and catch up! Do It!
 *Vampire Diaries
Oh Vampire I love thee! And I am going out on a limb here but I like this show and cast more than I love Twilight! I know I know it's blasphemy but just take a look at the men of the show below, I mean Rob Pattinson doesn't hold a candle to these guys! Even my parents love this is my favorite!!!!! Swoon
 * The Ringer
And we come to the Ringer..... the show I was most excited about and I am now just plain disapointed. I mean come on CW, you make this show look so low budget it is silly. I might give it one more week but that is all. Sorry Sarah Michelle.....
I also loved Terra Nova, Heart of Dixie, Whitney and I am SO glad Glee is back! What shows are you loving and what are you disappointed in?

My Yesterday......

Hi friends! First of all for those of you who bought from me I will not be able to ship the items until this weekend or Monday.....why>?? Because I am stuck at home and I have NO car! My car is on it's last leg I was told 4 months ago that I have 6 months tops on my brakes and shocks....recently it has started to convulse and make weird noises. I have been telling Matt and asking him to drive it and get his opinion because I knew what happened yesterday would happen soon.....

LUCKY lucky me....I was ONLY in my car literally started convulsing, shaking and making awful metal on metal noises and died. I was able to coast to the curb and then under the car (well Trailblazer) it was leaking a TON of stuff. So.....Matt and I were going to look for me a new car come January so we decided that we would push up the search to yesterday. So we went a looking........we test drove and I had decided on 2.... But when we were doing the money talk with the salesmen......there was a discussion and long story short I am at home with a dead car in the driveway. Matt and his dad are going to patch it up this weekend but it is only a matter of time before my brakes and shocks quit on me. But when your car is worth 2k on a good day you can't put in $$ when it is like giving it away. So it does worry me.
So I guess we will see what happens.

What I am loving Wednesday

 Hi Friends! First of all I am LOVING all the interest in my blog sale yesterday, I can NOT believe I sold everything but 1 dress! I have more items and I may do another post since the interest was so great! Thanks Guys!
What else am I loving??? I am loving that last night I went to see Journey and Foreigner at the Okc Zoo Amp! I love me some classic rock and Journey is up there as one of my favorites!
 I went to see the concert with my mom and I gave my dad his ticket for his Birthday! We had a blast and we were able to get a great spot on a wall to the side of the stage! We had a good view for the most part until some rude people stood in front of us!
 Now if you have been to a concert at the  Zoo Amp then you know it is perfect for people is a fair crowd if you catch my drift. What I don't understand is how everyone can afford to go to these concerts because they aren't cheap! Fast forward 3 hours with this crowd and we watched people after people trip and run into things because they were so drunk! I had a good laugh at a few of the crazies!
 We saw Night Ranger who was the opener and then Foreigner took the stage! They were amazing and I knew every song they sang! Loved it! You may know "Urgent, I want to know what love is....."
 Here was there last song they played which I LOVED "Juke Box Hero".......I was singing my heart out!
 And finally Journey took the stage around 9pm and even thought I have seen them before I was still amazed at how amazing they sound live! They literally sound exactly like their CD! I love love their new front man his voice is a real gift!
 I just loved every minute of last night and for you Real Housewives of DC fans.....I was on the look out for Michaele Salahi since as of last week she left her husband Tareq for the Guitar player of Journey. It was all over the new about how now she is on tour with the band.....but I didn't see her! LOL If you haven't heard that crazy story google it!
 They saved my favorite song for the encore....."Loving, Touching, Squeezing" I just love that song and it did bring me to my feet where I danced and waved my hands like a crazy person! At least I fit in!
Well if you haven't figured it out I LOVE concerts so I thought I would share with you almost everyone I have seen that I can remember....just for kicks! the ( ) is how many times!
Journey (2), Earth Wind and Fire, Chicago (4), Huey Lewis and the News, Rod Stewart, KC and the Sunshine Band,  Coldplay, Justin Timberlake (2), Christina Aguilera, Destiny's Child, NSync, Britney (3), MIchael Buble (4), Ashlee Simpson, Incubus (4), Night Ranger, Foreigner, Kansas, Pink, The Killers (2), The Strokes, John Mayer (2), Glee live, Jessica Simpson, Kid Rock, 98' Degrees, Olivia Newton John and many more!
If you can't tell I love going to concerts! What are you loving today?

HUGE Weekend Re-cap!

Man o man do I have a lot to do today and this week in general! I feel like I have a lot of loose ends to tie up from the garage sale and then work and just life to catch up on because of the garage sale!
* I am going to take a tub to a few consignment shops to try to get money out of the last of the items!
* I have to take the tubs you see below to a great Non-Profit for single mothers, The Bethel Foundation
* I need to take all the baby stuff back to Melissa
* And I set aside some good stuff that didn't sell and I want to do a blog sale since so many of you asked! do I do that? Leave me a comment and tell me what to do!
Thanks ladies!
I made some great recipes this weekend for the OU game (I feel asleep at 8:30) might have seen this one on Pinterest!! Jalapeno bites!! You can see the recipe HERE! They were so easy and great!
I made roasted Pumpkin seeds yesterday!! They were good and will be a nice little snack to munch on all week! Here is what you do......
You clean them and roast then dry for 30minutes at 300' then toss them with EVOO and salt and roast it for another 20 minutes! Yumm!
This is Guy Fieri's Chicken Tequila Tailgating Subs! These were so GOOD and this recipe was in the Food Network Magazine last month! You must try these today! You can see his recipe by clicking HERE!
So.....On Sunday afternoon Matt and I wanted to relax and enjoy the day so we went to see the new Brad Pitt movie Moneyball......You know I love me some movies!
Let me start by saying that if you are not a baseball fan or do not know how the game is played then this is NOT the movie for you. But if you are an avid baseball fan and former player like Matt or know just enough to get by  and enjoy the game like me then you will LOVE this movie. This is based on the bestseller book with the same title and is the true story of Billy Beane and the Oakland A's. This movie was so interesting and I feel like I even learned something but in a good way not a boring way. And the rumors that this movie could get Brad Pitt a Oscar nomination has to be true.....he was amazing. Brad embodied everything that you would think Billy Beane actually would be. I truly believed that Brad had been a former MLB player and General Manager his whole life in this movie. Matt and I really really enjoyed this movie, the whole 2 hours I was so invested in this story and the lives of these players and staff. This is full of heart, laughter and inspiration.........and oh ya...TONS of baseball. Brush up on your stats....
Check out the trailer...

Lastly, I am selling my 2 lower level like 20 rows back Incubus tickets to the Dallas show this Thursday! Do you want them or know someone who does? I am asking 99$ a piece plus shipping! Leave me a comment if you do!
Whew! I am exhausted!
