The Help

I finally got around to reading The Help this week and it did not disappoint! Sometimes my "to read" list grows real long, but I am not always in the mood to read everything on it. After a slew of "teen" books I wanted to read an adult book and this one was great. This book is like a fine wine as in it keeps getting better, this was a wonderful story that will immerse you into the Civil Rights movement of the 60s. Some parts were hard to read but a book like this not only entertains you but teaches you something along the way. I am looking forward to the movie coming out next year and I hope it will be as good as the book. Below is a "Book trailer"................

Have you read this book? What did you think of it?

I just finished this book last night after reading like a maniac the past few days! It was SO good and very eye-opening. I love to learn about this time period and I loved how the book was given in different perspectives of the characters. I am sad now that I finished it...I am missing some of the characters. Have a wonderful day! Xoxo, Beren
